Vicki Spriggs

Vicki Spriggs was named Chief Executive Officer of Texas CASA in January 2012 after serving 16 years (1995 -2011) as Executive Director of the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission. At the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission (TJPC), Ms. Spriggs supervised a staff of 78 and worked with 169 chief juvenile probation officers, their staff and related stakeholders across the state. Prior to assuming the role of Executive Director of TJPC, Ms. Spriggs served in various capacities including; Management Auditor, Legislative Liaison, Director of Training and oversaw HR functions for the agency.  Ms. Spriggs has more than 45 years of child advocacy and service, the majority of the work being in the juvenile justice arena.

Ms. Spriggs received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Juvenile Justice and her Master’s Degree in Juvenile Justice and Secondary School Counseling from the School of Education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
