Disproportionality

The Children’s Commission is committed to addressing disproportionality and disparities in the child welfare system through the development of judicial and attorney resources aimed at increasing awareness as well as sharing data and information. The Commission encourages legal and judicial practices that identify and support the individualized needs of each child, youth, and family involved in the child welfare system.
